Actually a district of Leipzig, but also the home of the central workshop for all Leipzig trams. At the beginning of the new millennium, the idea of building our own tram was born. And ALP, together with Glasurit, has been there right from the start. Since then, corrosion protection and perfect surfaces have been the task of many projects for cities throughout Germany. The district has become a real brand in the tram sector. And from next year we will be building trams for Leipzig again.
Very long and very proven collaboration
Our company is already over 100 years old - just like Autolacke Petzold GmbH, formerly Farben Petzold. And we have been working with ALP for almost as long. What stands out above all is the commitment of Kai Bräunig and his team when they support us in implementing new manufacturing processes. Our teams work closely together right from the planning phase to ensure that everything in the supply and production chain fits in the end. ALP is our first choice as a dealer for all paints for our trams and light rail vehicles and also for all primers, special paints and painting tools.
